    What is Squarespace?

Squarespace is an American SaaS-based website building and hosting company. It provides software as a service for website building and hosting, and allows users to use pre-built website templates and drag-and-drop elements to create and modify webpages.

Squarespace is great for photographers, artists, and anyone who loves design and wants their website to look as good as the content they’re showing off online. Small businesses and creative professionals love Squarespace.

With Squarespace, you get a one-stop solution for creating an online presence without having to worry too much about technology. You don’t need to sacrifice usability for aesthetics if you’re willing to spend some time designing an attractive UI/UX. Squarespace designs and functionality will give your portfolio, business, or personal blog an impressive, professional appearance with minimal hosting know-how. Words, images, and other content are contained in blocks that can be easily arranged in any configuration.

One of the things that make Squarespace interesting, is that it doesn’t focus exclusively on the design process for your homepage and other website pages. You can also tap into other features to create other visual components of your online presence too. The great thing about Squarespace is that it puts quality template designs first and foremost for its customers.

Unlike with Shopify and WordPress, you don’t get access to hundreds of templates, there are actually just over 60 options to choose from. However, this also means that every template is custom-made to suit the highest standards. The sleek and modern design elements of the Squarespace website builder mean that you get quality over quantity. What’s more, all templates are created for excellent usability and performance too.

While you’re using Squarespace to build your website, you’ll need to remember that there’s a lot more for business owners to consider than just ease of use, or how your site will look on mobile devices. You also need to consider the domains that you’re going to have access to. All you need to do is search for the domain that you want and add it to your cart. Remember that the price of your domain may vary depending on what you want for your site.

    Sales as a Premium feature

If you’re interested specifically in Squarespace as a solution for your eCommerce website or online store, then it’s good to know that this product comes with plenty of great capabilities. Some of the available “sales” features included with Squarespace include:

    • -Unlimited product support
    • -Inventory management
    • -Selling digital products
    • -Sales tax configuration
    • -Product variant options

Squarespace comes with a host of marketing options. From a social media marketing perspective, Squarespace allows you to link accounts from over 20 different platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. You can even add things like Twitter cards to a cover page on your website.

Adding custom buttons to your website so that your customers can share what they find on your blog posts or highlight the recent products that they’ve purchased is a breeze too. That makes it much more compelling for business owners to add interactive elements to their Squarespace site. Squarespace offers a wide range of marketing tools that allow you to manage your SEO efforts.

These include Google Analytics integration, which lets you track traffic and conversions. There’s also a free version of Google Tag Manager that you can use to configure tags for tracking purposes. You can also take advantage of the SEO reporting feature that Squarespace provides. It helps you to see where your traffic is coming from and what keywords people are searching for when they visit your site.

One downside is that Squarespace doesn’t have its own app stores like Shopify and WordPress. This means that you’re more reliant on the existing features and built-in integrations that are already available.
